The property is located within Harrietsham, near Maidstone in Kent.

 

We were contacted by our client with a brief to create a ground floor extension to provide a large open plan kitchen, living and dining space and a complete refurbishment of the ground floor of the property. The clients main wishes were to have lots of glazing and light that would make the hub of the home extra special.

 

The L Shaped design responds well to the existing garden footprint, and adds interest to the layout. The large ridge rooflight and vaulted ceiling lets southerly light into the kitchen space.

 

This project was designed from start to finish by the Kent Design Studio Team, including planning, building regulations, tender and also on site assistance when required by the contractor and client.
